Several sponsorship packages are available to appeal to both small and large organizations that want to support this incredible community extravaganza.  All monetary figures are given in Australian dollars.  Please email info (at) makerfairemelbourne (dot) com to discuss sponsoring the event.

Note that sponsorship directly or indirectly involves supporting the Melbourne Connected Community Hackerspace (CCHS), the group running the Maker Faire event.  To find out more about us, please visit our website at http://hackmelbourne.org.

    • Hi Mark!

Good question – thanks for asking 🙂

Having a makers exhibit, hosting an activity, running a workshop or presenting a demonstration or talk are all available at no charge from us (the event organisers).

You can find out more details by reading the information provided on the Makers page, and submitting a Maker Entry Form.

However, there are a few requirements you’ll need to consider:

        * We will provide you with some basic space and facilities: you’ll need to organise anything more than that.

        * For this not-for-profit event, we’re aiming to promote the community first.  We feel it’s important not to look like yet-another trade-show.  Therefore, we ask that vendors don’t transact any product or service sales on the day, but instead either point interested customers to your online store, or arrange for a follow up discussion after the event.

        * We’re working to provide a balanced program with good variety, so all submissions will be considered on their merits and their ability to support breadth in the program.

      Mark, I hope that helps!

Thanks for supporting Maker Faire and we look forward to seeing a submission from you 🙂

The Mini Maker Faire Melbourne team
